We are a Cub Scout Pack of about 25 boys in kindergarten through 5th grade. Cub Scouts do things, go places, and earn awards!

We have been meeting at Saint Jane Frances de Chantal Parish in Bethesda, MD since 1954, and most of our boys attend Ashburton Elementary School or St. Jane de Chantal Catholic School.  Our Pack is open to any boy in grades K to 5 who can regularly attend our meetings in the cafeteria  at St. Jane de Chantal Catholic School (9525 Old Georgetown Road, Bethesda, MD 20814).

During the school year our meetings are typically held on the first and 3rd Wednesday evenings between 6.30pm and 7.30pm. Please come and visit us! Park behind the church and walk up the hill towards the school, go past the awning and down the ramp around the corner to get to the cafeteria.

Youth Joining the Pack

For new members the national registration includes a one-time joining fee of $25 and an annual fee of $80. However, it does not include the separate Pack 461 annual dues to support our activities ($120) which include the pack Class-B T-shirt.

Returning scouts can pay the 2023-24 $200 dues online

Starting this Fall 2023 an annual Council Participation Fee of $80.00 will be assessed to all youth participating in Cub Scouts. More information is available here: https://www.ncacbsa.org/participation-fee/
